Autodesk releases a new hotfix for AutoCAD Electrical 2010's circuit builder tool.
Autodesk has released a new hotfix for AutoCAD Electrical 2010. AutoCAD Electrical 2010 is one of Autodesk’s many products built on the AutoCAD 2010 platform specifically for drafters and designers in the electrical industry. Users improve efficiency and accuracy with tools designed to improve sharing designs with architects, designers and engineers.
AutoCAD Electrical for electrical drafters ...
It seems that some AutoCAD Electrical 2010 users have been experiencing an issue where “AutoCAD Electrical's Circuit Builder ignores branching or nested circuits and preventing insertion of multiple circuits with a single node reference.” This hotfix has been designed to specifically address this, and only this, issue.
As always, we recommend that you read the accompanying ReadMe file for this, or any, hotfix. There you will find complete information and installation for the download. Also be sure that you are downloading the correct version of these or any download. Like many Autodesk updates and hotfixes, this hotfix is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of AutoCAD Electrical 2010. Please note that his hotfix is intended for workstations that have installed Autodesk Electrical 2010 Update 1. If you have not installed Update 1, download and install it before applying this hotfix.
Here at the Kung Fu Dojo we often wish we could say we use every flavor of AutoCAD, but we just don’t. If you are using Autodesk Electrical 2010 and apply this hotfix leave us a comment to let us know how it works for you. Since we don’t use this particular application we will never know the results otherwise …
