Video: Music Videos Inspired by Resident Evil 5 and The Guild ...
Friday videos in the queue and ready to go!
It is the end of that week and that means that it’s time for more of our favorite online videos. Our readers may have noticed that we like to pair our videos in themes whenever we can. This week we were lucky enough to find two more great online videos that fit together into a nice theme. That means that the theme for this week’s videos is “Video Game Inspired Music Videos”.
The first video we have is based on one of the more controversial video games 2009, Resident Evil 5. You have to admit that there is a good deal of material there to make a machinima, parody or sitcom. Aside from all that, singing video game reviewer, Rebecca Mayes, decided to write a song advocating zombie non-violence. It’s sort of a PETA approach to the zombie apocalypse. Actually it is a pretty decent song with entertaining lyrics. Be sure to check out some of Rebecca Mayes’ other material and writings.

We are pretty sure that all our readers have heard of Felicia Day’s internet sensation, The Guild. This award winning online serial focuses on the lives and interactions of real-life players who are all members of guild in an unnamed MMO. Of course we all know which MMO played a heavy influence. Of course it isn’t all MMO’s and music videos for the cast and crew. If you are going to hit the big time and get exclusive deals with the likes of Microsoft you have to be willing to make sacrifices. Well, sacrifices and music videos.
So there we go, another week with another set of our favorite online videos. As always we hope that you had a good week and that the weekend rocks adequately. If you know of any videos you think we’d like to share in our Friday posts leave us a comment or email us. For now we hope that this week’s videos are a great end to your week of hard work. If they didn’t maybe you should watch them again. Come on … Felicia Day! Ok, if you need a little something extra, watch this and learn how to launch an anvil. Just because, that’s why …
