Gadgets: Dental Cameras, Wallet Lights and Green Pizza Boxes ...

We take a look at three of our favorite gadgets.

When you subscribe to over 100 RSS feeds, watch channels like the Discovery Channel and hang out with generally geeky people it is impossible to not be exposed to gadgets. All of which is in addition to emails that we getting to point out some of the most interesting gadgets. Luckily here at Kung Fu Drafter we are giant gadget geeks. So today we are going to take a moment to share some of the gadgets that have caught our eye in the last month or so.

Get your own USB dental camera ...

Our first gadget verges on the almost useful. Well, almost. Our Engadget RSS feed brought this little dental gadget to our attention. Apparently someone in Japan got tired of going to the dentist to see what was going on with his rice chompers. What is an enterprising geek with dentophobia to do? Well apparently this fellow invented a USB dental camera. This little electronic bugger not only has a tiny CMOS camera mounted in a toothbrush-like body but it also sports 6 LED lights. Hey, it’s dark in there.

Lighten up your wallet with this little dude ...

The next gadget on our list is definitely something that we could use. Imagine it; you are in a dark alley. Your contact arrives. He says “I have the information.” But before he gives you that information, you have to pay him. But it’s too dark to see what bills are which! Boom you whip out your wallet flashlight and count out $15. You get your information and write the most amazing blog post ever. All that success because you had the foresight to order a wallet flashlight from Brando. This nifty little LED light fits right into a credit card slot of your wallet and lets you see, a little, in the dark. And for only $10!

Save the planet. And your pizza ...

When we got the link to our last gadget emailed to us we had to laugh. First, how does a pizza box qualify as a gadget? Second, what can you do with a pizza box? Well were we surprised when we went to the Toxel website. It seems that the Green Box is the eco friendly pizza box of the future. It would seem that this box not only brings you a pizza, it also becomes 4 serving plates and a storage container. You have to watch the video to believe it. We have to commend the innovativeness of it all. All the way down its production. The Green Box only requires additional perforating of a standard pizza box blank. How awesome is that?
