CAD: Autodesk Releases Update 1 for AutoCAD Mechanical 2010 ...
Autodesk releases Update 1 for AutoCAD Mechanical 2010.
Kung Fu Drafter would like to welcome you to post number 100 for our little blog. We’d like to take a moment and thank the readers and friends who have supported our little project since we began a short while back. Now here we are almost exactly 5 months later and writing our 100th post. While we had thought about writing a deep introspective and thoughtful post to commemorate the occasion, we think that it is much more fitting for this post to deliver patch news for a CAD application. After all, that is what we are here for.
AutoCAD Mechanical 2010 ...
On the 8th of September Autodesk release Update 1 for AutoCAD Mechanical 2010. This hefty little update comes in at 26 Megs for the 32 bit version and 38 Megs for the 64-bit version. This update, like all of Autodesk’s updates, addresses known issues discovered in costumer error reports (CER) and in-house testing. Mechanical users are going to find that Autodesk has prepared some very helpful fixes in Update 1 such as:
- Drawing standard import errors
- Materials and part lists annotation
- Missing sample libraries
- Resolving several fatal errors
- Slow performance inserting steel shapes
As always we recommend that you read the accompanying Readme.txt file for your particular service pack download. There you will find complete information for Update 1 as well as standalone and network installation instructions. We are certain that AutoCAD Mechanical users are going to find Update 1 to be just what the doctor ordered for their CAD woes. Don’t be shy leave us a comment to let us know what you think of this update. The button is down below, give it a click …
