To celebrate the first Video Friday of 2010 we share some videos to help us remember 2009.

Our readers will be glad to know that here at Kung Fu Drafter we are continuing our tradition of Video Fridays through the year 2010! Since this is the first Friday of the new year we would like to start right off with some great videos we think our readers will love. Well, it’s the first Friday if you don’t count the first of January; which we do not. This week we are going to take a look at some videos that help the recent holidays live on just a little bit longer. So sit back and enjoy the Friday goodness.

Our first video is a Christmas themed tour de force. “Christmas Laser Beam Cats” has all the greatest things that a Christmas video could possibly have. You have the classical music, the festive adornments and, of course, cats shooting lasers and all in one great package. This great video by “Gutsy Movie Productions” not only shows the dangers of an escalated arms race involving cats, it also delivers a holiday message of mutually assure cat-related destruction. If you love this video as much as we do be certain to visit Paul Klusman’s channel on YouTube. We think that you will be pleasantly surprised that two engineers and three cats can be so funny. Frankly we were shocked.

Of course the holidays aren’t all cats and laser beams. No sir. The holidays are also a time for reflection. A time for looking back at the year past while keeping an eye towards the looming future. With all of the amazing events that occurred in 2009 it may be a little difficult to get your head around the big picture. Luckily for us all there is SeanieMic and his “Two Thousand And Nine Rap-Up: The Year of WTF”. This zippy little tune will bring you up to speed on the happenings of 2009 in just over 3 minutes! How much more convenient can one musical parody by a deep voiced Caucasian rapper on the internet be? If you groove on SeanieMic’s parody of the last year of all our lives, be sure to visit his YouTube channel.

It sure does seem as if everyone and their cat has a YouTube channel these days. For instance, we have one (subtle self promotion). Frankly here at Kung Fu Drafter we couldn’t be happier about all that user created video content. It’s on the backs of creative people like those that uncreative people like us can aggregate their efforts and present them with to others. If you’ve got your own YouTube channel or just some loose creative videos you would like to share post a link below. Or you can always contact us. Of course you could just keep your videos to yourself and wind up being shocked when we still come across them on the internet. And trust us, being shocked isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
