Blog: What's Going on Here ...

We let our readers know why we've been so quite lately.

Things sure have been quiet around Kung Fu Drafter lately. Our regular readers know that is not the norm and may be wondering why we have been silent. Well the fact is that on May 8th Google mistakenly determined that Kung Fu Drafter hosted malware. Obviously, this is entirely incorrect. The fact is that through our association with another site’s newsfeed Google came to this mistaken conclusion. However, we do not believe that this newsfeed posed any harm or danger to our visitors at any time.

Our long time readers know that her at Kung Fu Drafter we are big Google fanboys. While this situation has caused us a great deal of distress and lost traffic, we understand that it occurred through Google’s efforts to protect our visitors. In hopes of correcting this situation, we have removed the newsfeed and requested that Google revisit this situation.

In the mean time, we have determined that we must continue blog through this discomfort and not wait for the situation to be cleared up. We hope that our readers will stay with us through this issue and continue to visit Kung Fu Drafter. During this period of silence, we have had to find other ways of expressing ourselves …

Several "CAD" sites have been doing this lately. Your, Tenlinks, and Cadalyst magazine, as far as I can see. Any others? It's annoying by the way and sorry to see it happen. There are so many sites downloading illegal CAD software that are still running. Yours should not be one of them!

Good luck.
