Blog: We Get Out on the Town ...

Kung Fu Drafter is ready to step out on the town with our readers.

Well things have been a bit quiet around here lately and the reason is that we have been up to secret shenanigans. Now that we have completed step one of "Project Walkabout" we can let our readers know all about it. But first, let’s all take a moment to appreciate how awesome we are at coming up with names for our top-secret projects. Project Walkabout? Why yes, that is pretty awesome.

Here at Kung Fu Drafter, we are happy to unveil the mobile version of Kung Fu Drafter! After considering many systems, we have settled on Widgetbox for its ease of use. Now our readers will be able to access our Kung Fu goodness in a low bandwidth, mobile format. We even have a QR Code for our readers who have barcode readers on their phones, so be sure and bookmark us.

We hope that all of our readers accessing Kung Fu Drafter from their iPhone and Android handsets enjoy our site while out and about. On the other hand, we could say, “while on a walkabout” …

To my favorite KFD: My AutoCAD drawings are not listed by name when I open the "select file" dialogue box. I reset the view settings, they are not retained. Windows Explorer was doing the same thing but I was able to fix that this morning...... Any suggestions??

Joie:

Thank you for the compliment. Normally I would suggest that you just change the value of variable that determines the number of recently opened files that are listed. That can be changed at the following location:

Options>Open and Save tab>File Open section (upper right corner)>Number of recently-open files

But since your OS had the same problem at the same time I have to wonder if there is not a problem with your registry. Sorry we can't be of more help.
