Mudbox: It’s Time to Throw Your Most Dangerous Mud …

       

Are you an aspiring or established 3D artist? Are you an artist of the highest kung fu caliber? If you answer is yes then we have a competition for you! The Mudbox Challenge – Armed and Dangerous is happening RIGHT NOW! Why aren’t you working on your submission!??!

You say you didn’t know about it? Well neither did we, but we aren’t artists. Our kung fu is more of the SpongeBob SquarePants caliber than lethal Mudbox Assassin sort. But the call is out for all you talented people to created create the most dangerous, the meanest, the beefiest, best dressed and well armed characters you can imagine!

What are you working up a sweat for? Well nothing less than some spanking prizes! Come on, like we would bring you a contest that had what loot? Never! First prize includes a new NVidia Quadro 4000, a NextEngine 3D scanner, and $5,000 in cold, hard, buy your favorite bloggers something off their wish list CASH! Autodesk even has a special trial version of Mudbox that won’t expire until this competition is over. So you have no reason to not participate!

It all sounds fantastic, yes? No! Because the competition is going now! Even as your read this and wipe away $5,000 worth of drool other artists are busy working on their character models now! There are only 73 days left, so get to it and start working that character up. And be sure to leave us some links once you win!

Don’t hesitate! Don’t procrastinate! We know your character will destroy the others. Why? Because your kung fu is strong, of course …
