It’s going to be an exciting week here at Kung Fu Drafter because we are going to be packing our bags and hitting the road soon. In less than 24 hours we will be traveling to San Francisco to visit the Autodesk offices and Autodesk Gallery!
The Event
We know that our readers are avid visitors of many CAD blogs, so you’ve probably already heard that Autodesk has some special webcast events coming up. What you may not know is that we will be on-hand, live and in person, for the Special Media Summit!
Kung Fu Drafter has been invited to join several big blogging personalities and media representatives from around the world to attend this media event live. We will meeting with the Autodesk team and get to watch the Facebook webcast live. After that we will be joining some industry breakout sessions that will surely reveal all the goodies currently under wraps for the 2013 product line. And that’s just on Tuesday!
Envy Us
So, if that is what is happening Tuesday, what could possibly be going on Wednesday? Oh nothing much. We just get to visit a little place called Industrial Light and Magic for a tour and presentation! Oh yeah, KFD will be roaming the halls of ILM. Surely this alphabetically addition can only yield tales filled with shenanigans, awesome photos, and possibly a small souvenir wookie or other ILM collectible. Security be damned!
Keep your eyes peeled for details and photos. We are not sure if we will be live blogging the webcast but we will certainly be tweeting the hell out of it, if we don’t blog. Leave us comments below if you have questions you would like asked at the Autodesk or ILM events. We’ll be sure to try and get them answered.
Maybe we should take extra business cards and some resumés to “accidentally” leave lying around ILM …
