Autodesk releases service packs and an object enabler for several software packages. It's a big day for updating Autodesk software.
Yesterday Autodesk announced the release of Service Pack 1 for 3ds Max 2010 to accompany Service Pack 1 for 3ds Max Design 2010 released earlier this month. Both 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design are part of Autodesk’s collection of applications for modelers, animators, and designers. While 3ds Max provides a complete production solution for games, film and television 3ds Max Design is optimized to be integrated into AutoCAD and Revit workflows.
As CAD professionals we think that keeping our software installs up to date with the latest updates is the most important part of maintaining our workstations. Since there are so many different CAD applications in use here at the Kung Fu Dojo it can be a real challenge to keep it up to snuff. Needless to say we keep our eyes peeled, our ears to the ground and noses in the wind to try and keep up with all the latest developments.
